Everst base camp

Everest Base Camp (EBC) trekking is one of the most iconic adventures in the world, offering breathtaking views of Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Located in Nepal’s Khumbu region, the trek takes you through picturesque Sherpa villages, ancient monasteries, and rugged landscapes.

The journey begins with a thrilling flight to Lukla, followed by a trek through Namche Bazaar, the vibrant gateway to Everest. Trekkers pass through lush rhododendron forests, suspension bridges, and glacial valleys, gradually acclimatizing to the high altitude. Highlights of the trek include Tengboche Monastery, panoramic views from Kala Patthar (5,545m), and finally reaching Everest Base Camp (5,364m), where climbers prepare for their summit attempts.

The trek typically takes 12–14 days and requires moderate to high fitness levels due to the altitude and challenging terrain. The best seasons for EBC trekking are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) when the weather is stable and the views are spectacular.

For vegan trekkers, there are plant-based meal options in teahouses, though bringing supplements or snacks is recommended. EBC trekking is a life-changing experience, combining adventure, cultural immersion, and stunning natural beauty.

Annapurna circuit

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the most iconic trekking routes in Nepal, offering a diverse and breathtaking journey through the Annapurna region. Spanning approximately 160–230 km (100–145 miles) depending on the route, this trek takes adventurers through lush subtropical forests, terraced fields, alpine meadows, and arid high-altitude landscapes.

The trek typically begins in Besisahar or Bhulbhule and ascends gradually, passing through charming villages like Chame, Manang, and Pisang, before reaching the challenging Thorong La Pass (5,416m / 17,769 ft)—one of the highest trekking passes in the world. After crossing the pass, the trail descends to the sacred town of Muktinath and continues through the Kali Gandaki Gorge, the world's deepest gorge.

Trekkers experience a blend of Nepali, Tibetan, and Thakali cultures, staying in cozy teahouses along the way. The trek can take 12–18 days, depending on the itinerary. The best seasons are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) when the weather is clear and stable.

For vegan travelers, the trek offers lentil soup (dal bhat), vegetable momos, and fried rice, with more options in larger villages. The Annapurna Circuit is a true adventure, offering a mix of cultural immersion and spectacular mountain scenery.
